- Definition of diversity
- Identifying Diverse Groups
- Legislation
- Organisational Response
6. Privacy, Dignity, Respect:
- Definition of terms
- Value base and belief systems
7. Personal Care:
- Definition of Personal Care
- Duties & Responsibilities
- Practical Skill Building session
8. Protection of Vulnerable Groups
- Safeguarding Children
- Protection of Vulnerable Adults
- Vulnerability in groups (mental health, disability, drug & alcohol misuse etc)
9. Health & Safety
- Health & Safety at Work Act
- Safe Work Place
- Risk Assessment
- Roles & Responsibilities
10. Maintaining Personal Safety
- Definition of Conflict
- Identify conflict situations and resolve them
- How to keep yourself safe
