Partnership In Practice
Partnership in Practice has two elements of delivery;
Firstly the project provides capacity building and developmental support to Sheffield Community Action Plan Programme funded projects within the South Sheffield Partnership area.
Within the South Sheffield Partnership, there are 11 partner organisations; Arbourthorne, Heeley, Sharrow, Broomhall, Gleadless Valley, Wybourn & Skye Edge, Manor, Park, Woodthorpe, Norfolk Park and the BME Cluster, these partners have the responsibility to ensure the delivery of the South Sheffield Partnership Community Action Plan within their designated areas and across South Sheffield.
The delivery of services covers a wide range from child care services for working parents and parents seeking training to gain better employability skills to projects which provide capacity building initiatives for disengaged young people.
Secondly, the project provides technical services for Sheffield City Council, who are the accountable body for the Sheffield Community Action Plan Programme, this includes assisting individual projects in the development of new services, ensuring that outputs and outcomes are met and ensuring that the appropriate evidence is collated for funders purposes, Yorkshire Forward and Objective One.
