29th September 2009: Wybourn's new children's centre
A brand new Childern's centre has been built next to Wybourn Community Primary School on Manor Oaks Road. The new Children's centre opened in September will provide service for families with children 5 years and under.
The new children's centre will bring together existing Sure Start services, nursery education and childcare for 3 and 4 year olds. Midwifery services will also be available from the centre alongside advice and information.
Flexible childcare for 3 - 5 year olds will be available from 8.00 - 5.00 at a cost of £3.40 per hour. Cost to help pay for childcare may be available through Working Families Tax Credits. The children's centre staff can advise familiies about what help is available.
