25th November 2009: 24 years of good service
Beryl & Terry Sorsby after 24 years as Post Mistress & Post Master at Fairleigh post office retired on 25 November 2009. At their retirement Ken Curran chair of Manor Assembly & Manor & Castle Development Trust thanked them for the enormous contribution they have made over their years of service to the local community. Mr Curran added "Their personal contribution to local people was an example of the value of good public sector sevices and people motivated by their love of the community".
