Introduction
Welcome to the first edition of My Story Our Story, a publication that celebrates the successes of local people and local groups and also marks the re launch of Manor and Castle Development Trust. Whilst the Trust has faced a challenging three years we are now positively looking forward to continuing to deliver what we do best – working with local people to change lives.
The Trust has successfully become a Charity which opens up opportunities we have not had before; we are working with Sheffield City Council to secure the long term future of the work and developing partnerships with other key agencies working in Manor and Castle – the PCT, Futures and the Service District team to name a few – apologies to anyone not specifically mentioned, but there are a lot of you!
We are also working closely with our peers in other parts of the city and with South Sheffield partners. The future is looking very positive and we already have enough stories to fill a dozen copies of My Story Our Story. Please enjoy this wonderful celebration of what local people have achieved, with a little help from their friends of course!
