Welcome to the third edition of My Story Our Story, celebrating more of the success of local people and local groups.
The first edition marked the re-launch of Manor Castle Development Trust after three challenging years. The third edition marks the start of what we hope to be three very fruitful and
We are constantly striving to find new way of supporting local people to achieve their dreams. The team at Manor Park space, the Key Workers are supporting people to find their way into work, we have added to the provision for children and young people and are looking to open the Park Youth Centre on Friday evenings if we are successful with a funding bid. The health team is growing and adding to the activities we can offer, boxercise being the top favourite at the moment!
The Cancer Relay story is truly inspirational and would not have happened without the staff and volunteers working for Manor & Castle Development Trust. Cancer has touched so many people's lives and it is one issue that unites communities.
The essence of what we do is bring people together and create a sense of what can be achieved with the right support or as Helen Keller once said:
"Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much."
