MCDT People

Augustine Afari-Adomah – Administration/Reception  
  • Supporting the administrative needs of the team. 
Carol Simpson: HR/Admin Assistant
 
  • Carol’s role is to ensure the Trust has up to date HR policies and procedures, maintains all the personnel systems and records and undertakes other critical administrative duties. 
Dawn Dale: Community Development Officer, Manor
  • Dawn's role is to be the proactive interface between the community, the Neighbourhood Forum, other organisations and the Trust in order to identify needs and ways in which to address those needs and to enable communication with and access to planning and decision making.  The Development Officers also have a role in the co-ordination, support and the development of new and existing projects within the designated work area.
Diane Cairns : Development Manager
  • Diane's role is to lead the Trust's team of Development Workers, ensuring the widest possible community involvement in regeneration activities in the Manor and Castle area 
Jackie Bailey – Park Community Action Assistant Development Officer 
  • Working closely with the PCA forum supporting local residents who are being affected by the Park Hill Development process. 
Jane Stevens: Monitoring and Project Development Officer, IDP programme.
 
  • Jane’s role is to ensure that the projects being developed and delivered within the Integrated Development Plan, funded by Objective 1 and Yorkshire Forward are within the terms of the contracts. Part of the role is to manage and monitor the progress of all the IDP contracts that are with MCDT.  
Jayne White: Conference Manager
 
  • Jayne’s role is to manage the Quadrant reception desk and take a lead role in acquiring and managing conference business and liaising with tenants.
 Jim Coleman: Business Centre Manager
  • Jim’s role is to lead and manage the Quadrant team to ensure systems and procedures for effective building and tenant management are in place. He is also responsible for the day-to-day management of the Quadrant, ensuring the highest standards of customer care and building maintenance.

 Julie Ward: Development & Monitoring Officer

  • Julie’s role is to support the delivery of the South Sheffield Community Action Plan, working with South Sheffield coordinator, the City Councils Accountable Body Services team and supporting community projects receiving funding from the CAP to deliver services and activities in the neighbourhoods of South Sheffield. 
Kathryn Lawcock: IDP Contracts and Finance Officer
 
  • Kat’s role is to work closely with the Finance Director to manage the project contracts, manage the financial profiles of the programme and co-ordinate the submission of claims to Objective 1 and Yorkshire Forward
Kerry Smythe: Events and Meetings Co-ordinator
  • Kerry has a dual role for the Trust, she is part-time receptionist for The Quadrant and as part of that role supports the organisation of conferences and meetings at the Quadrant.  In the other half of her role she co-ordinates the production and regular publication of The Mantle and organises visits to the Trust and partner organisations

Kevin Farrell: Estates/Facilities Manager

  • Kevin’s role is to ensure all the Trust’s property is maintained in good order and that buildings and open spaces are safe places in which to live, work and play. Kevin also has delegated responsibility for Health and Safety for the Trust.

Lauren White- Manor Park Community Space link worker (Temp. post) 

  • Based at the Manor Park Community Space providing a first point information point for the local community. Responding to the needs of local people. A partnership approach has been taken within the Space which includes Work Base (Employment & Training opportunities),Age Concern link worker and Pennine( Registered Social Land lord) . 
Lucy Andrews : Projects Development Manager
 
  • Lucy’s role is to deliver specific projects and tasks that make a significant contribution to the Trust’s sustainability and accountability, such as the co-ordination and development of the estate management function of Managing Locally, the development of the Manor Community Centre site, and any other appropriate projects.  
Margaret Blashki: Ledger Clerk/Finance Assistant

 

  • Margaret's role is to support the Company Accountant in all the day-to-day financial transactions of MCDT 
Neil Fletcher: Finance Director
  • Neil is responsible for the strategic management and operation of the finance and auditing function for MCDT and it's subsiduary companies, including taxation matter and the financial administration required for the various funding regimes 
Pam Smith : Community Development Office, Wybourn & Syke Edge
  • Pam's role is to be the proactive interface between the community, the Neighbourhood Forum, other organisations and the Trust in order to identify needs and ways in which to address those needs and to enable communication with and access to planning and decision making. The Development Officers also have a role in the co-ordination, support and the development of new and existing projects within the designated work area.
Peter Kirkham: Facilities Support Officer
  • Peter has a dual role in the Trust providing day-to-day IT support for both The Quadrant buisness centre and the Trust's staff.  He also works along side Kevin to support the management of the Trust's properties and facilities.  Other responsibilities include providing admin and reception support and taking a role in keeping the websites up-to-date for both company's.
Rebecca Houghton- Manor Fields Park Assistant Development Officer 
  • Assisting Rodger Nowells SCC Manor Fields Park Coordinating Manager to develop the new Manor Fields Park which covers 25 hectares and forms an integral part of the overall regeneration of the area. The job role involves developing the park, ensuring that local people are informed, are provided with a variety of fun and informative events on and around the park and are provided with opportunities to get involved with future planning works. 
Ruth Robinson: Finance Officer
