MASKK (Manor After School Kids Klub)
Based in Manor Community Child Care Centre
After school Mon - Fri 3pm - 6pm
Holidays Mon - Fri 9am - 5pm
 
"There was a need for the continuation of the after school and holiday club in the area to support working parents and to give children the opportunity to access safe structured play during school holidays, following the loss of the original founders who went into full time employment with the Social Services using the experience they had gained from managing the Club"
 
One of the MCDT Development Managers gave her support to the club by becoming Chair of the management committee, identifying funding streams and recruiting Craig Judson as coordinator
  
   
 
The club was established by local volunteers in 1999 and has developed it's provision over that time to provide an all year round inclusive, good quality after school and holiday childcare. It is registered for 20 places, children aged 5 to 12 and as there is no other after school club serving the schools in the Manor areas, children are collected from three local primary schools in term time and escorted to the club.
 
The club has since gone from strength to strength with Craig's enthusiasm and professionalism and that
of his staff including Ann Smith (Deputy coordinator) who has worked and supported the Club for many years and the passion and expertise of a small management committee.
