Health Assessment
Local people will be fully trained as researchers to interview residents to assess what their health needs are and what they would like in the area to improve their overall health. The outcomes of this assessment will form the basis of the future health strategy of the Trust.
This is still at an early planning stage and further details will be updated onto this website as it develops.
Manor & Castle Development Trust have been involved with various statutory bodies in discussions regarding attracting funding with which to carry out future health activities. Once the final decisions have been made we will update you on this website.
It is also anticipated that around September time a further Introduction to Community Development & Health Course (ICDH) will be run for local people. The previous one which ran at the Standhouse Centre and finished in February was a big success.
