Free4All
Free4All is an open access activites club for 8 - 15 years in the Lower Manor Area, trwice per week term time and 3 days in school holidays at Angleton Meeting Rooms.
This club was initially started to provide activities term time as there are no other activities provided in the area for the 8 - 15 years old age range.
The project has proved so successful that it gained the attention of other local groups who stepped in to help and it has been extended to offer more activities and extra sessions.
In March 2008 MASKK secured funding to start an open access, once a term, Saturday club called Free4All.
The project soom gained the attention of other local groups who stepped to help, Manor Development Company and Manor Assembly both giving grants. Manor Castle Community Safety and health Project approached MASKK to get involved and so Free4All became a joint project with MASKK managing it, with staff from both organisations working at the sessions.
The joint approach proved to be successful and led to an extension of the servicee providing monthly discos and summer project called "Summer to Perform" at which local children learnt 2 styles of dacing and performed at Manor Community Childcare Centre's open day.
We now work in partnership with Activity Sheffield for a new weekly 'Angleton Alligators' club, making the Lower Manor Area not so boring for the 8 to 15 year olds!
