With the help of the BIG and Manor & Castle Development Trust teams I now run a thriving business in my local area which I'm extremely proud of.
I worked as a receptionist in a local beauty salon until recently, but I wanted to bring something nice to the area and run my own business.
With BIG and MCDT's help I have transformed an old shop into a thriving health and beauty salon with everything to pamper yourself under one roof. We offer naturalistic products as well as beauty treatments and the use of a fitness suite. Everything that I love all in one place - we are are proving to be a real success.
Recently we asked to attend the business and enterprise hub to meet Caroline Flint MP. Caroline had heard how our idea had grown into reality, which was a great feeling and has invited us to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office for celebration.
