Achievements with Children & Young People
- We were awarded a contract from 'Kids Can Do' in April 2011 (Government funding for positive activities for Young People) This £24,220 has helped to pay for the delivery of the Youth Club, Street Dance sessions and Playschemes. We have overachieved on all outputs for hours of delivery, placements provided, volunteering opportunities and volunteer hours.
- In January 2012 nine of our volunteers took part in Level two award Youth Work Practice training.
- Our Street Dance showcase was held on 19th December 2011 with over 150 people attending. 38 young people took part.
- The Under 19's volunteering project will be starting April 2012
